Bone china, also known as bone porcelain, is a type of porcelain made from a blend of animal bone ash, clay, feldspar, and quartz as its basic raw materials. It undergoes two firing processes: a high-temperature biscuit firing and a low-temperature glaze firing. The unique aspect lies in the addition of bone ash, which eliminates impurities in the clay, resulting in porcelain with a whiter, finer, more translucent, and lighter appearance.
